"Lena" is our rare chestnut 2004 Spanish-Norman mare by pure Spanish stallion Botijo M and out of a lovely black Percheron mare. She has an unflappable, level-headed temperament and adores people. She has showy, powerful movement that makes you stop and stare at her as she frolics in the pasture. At the 2006 IALHA Baroque Horse Festival (Elkhorn, WI) she won Half-Andalusian Best Movement out of nine competitors, and then went onto to receive a 2nd place in her halter class. She is a show-stopper. She is 17 hands, but has an elegant build and beautiful lines that confirms her Andalusian parentage. A proven broodmare. SOLD! This is a phenomenal mare. All who see her recognize her quality and correct conformation and movement. She was the 2008 IALHA Reserve Grand Natíl Champion mare, and Grand Natl Champion Sport Horse In-Hand, Mares 4&over. She had the best dressage in-hand score of the entire competition! She is trained to drive and is green-broke under saddle currently. She wants to please and has earned her barn nickname "Sweet Pea!" We are regretfully offering her for sale, to the right home.

This colt is everything we dreamed of from the pairing of his parents! He is very Spanish in appearance, with added height and substance. The shoulder and topline on this colt is amazing, and he is beautifully proportioned. He has that 'look-at-me' attitude with a friendly and curious personality. A head and expressive eye just like his sire, with movement to top it off! This is a baby we would love to keep and see his full potential, but sadly have to sell him.
