I fell in love with Filomena's phenomenal Champion dam Cielita when visiting Rancho Andalucia, and we are thrilled to have one of her foals. Her sire Santiago is a 5-time National Champion stallion, including being the 2002 National Champion Senior Stallion! Cartujano bloodlines run strong in her pedigree. Filomena is a sweet and people-loving filly with very correct Spanish conformation and a particularly lovely neck and topline. She stands 15.3 hands at three-years-old. She has big, floating Spanish movement and turns on a dime. We can hardly wait to see the resulting foal from her pairing with Campanero! We will be presenting her for Revision in 2008.

"Lena" is our rare chestnut 2004 Spanish-Norman mare by pure Spanish stallion Botijo M (www.DoradoAndaluz.com) and out of a lovely black Percheron mare. She has an unflappable, level-headed temperament and adores people. She has showy, powerful movement that makes you stop and stare at her as she frolics in the pasture. At the 2006 IALHA Baroque Horse Festival (Elkhorn, WI) she won Half-Andalusian Best Movement out of nine competitors, and then went onto to receive a 2nd place in her halter class. She is a show-stopper. She is 17 hands, but she has an elegant build and beautiful lines that confirms her Andalusian parentage. "Lena" is confirmed in-foal to Campanero and is due Mary 25, 2008. This foal will be available for purchase.
